Job summary

My Hero Hypermarket Sdn Bhd is seeking a proactive IT Support to maintain, set up, and troubleshoot our IT systems across headquarters and store outlets in Kuala Lumpur. You will ensure smooth day-to-day operations by providing timely support for hardware, software, networking, and POS systems to minimize downtime.

Responsibilities include hardware setup for new outlets, LAN/Wi‑Fi networking support, and regular software updates.

Qualifications

• Diploma in IT or equivalent.
• 1–3 years in IT support is an added advantage.
• Familiar with Microsoft Office, Google Suites and PDF editing.
• Strong technical background with analytical and problem solving skills.
• Good communication, discretion and ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure and troubleshoot operating systems, drivers and peripherals.
• Set up POS hardware and operating systems for new outlets.
• Maintain and support LAN, Wi‑Fi and networking equipment.
• Respond to HQ/outlet requests for POS and network issues promptly.

Job description

We are looking for a proactive IT Support to maintain, setup, and troubleshoot our IT systems across headquarters and store outlets. You will ensure smooth day-to-day operations by providing timely support for hardware, software, networking, and Point of Sale (POS) systems to minimize operational downtime.

Key Responsibility

Hardware & Systems Setup

Install, configure, and troubleshoot operating systems, drivers, software patches, and PC peripherals.

Set up and configure POS hardware and operating systems for new outlet openings.

Monitor and maintain computer hardware, copiers, wireless devices, and projectors to ensure smooth functioning with minimal breakdown.

Network & Outlet Technical Support

Respond promptly to support requests and complaints from HQ and outlets regarding POS systems and network issues.

Install, configure, and troubleshoot Local Area Networks (LAN), Wi-Fi networks, and networking equipment.

Perform diagnostic checks to resolve software, hardware, and network issues efficiently.

General & Ad-Hoc Duties

Install and update company software applications and network systems.

Handle ad-hoc technical support tasks assigned by management.

Requirements

Candidates must possess at least a Diploma studies or equivalent in IT or any related field.

1-3 years of working experience in the related field is an added advantage.

Familiar with Microsoft Office, Google Suites, editing PDF documents.

Strong technical background with good analytical and problem solving skills.

Discretion, diplomacy and excellent judgment with regards to confidential information.

Good communication skills and has a strong sense of urgency.

Able to work under Pressure.
