Zaiyadal Aquaculture Sdn Bhd is seeking a seasoned Finance Manager to lead the finance and accounting function, ensuring adherence to MFRS and statutory reporting. You will drive budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning while monitoring cash flow and risk controls.

The role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to support long-term business objectives in Shah Alam.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Accounting (or similar).
• Minimum 5-10 years in financial management, accounting, and risk compliance.
• Experience in managerial/senior supervisory roles (5-8 years).
• Experience in environmental, engineering, or infrastructure-related industries is an advantage.
• Familiarity with private sector financial regulations and statutory reporting.

• Oversee the entire finance & accounting function.
• Ensure compliance with financial reporting standards and the Companies Act.
• Prepare accurate and timely financial statements.
• Administer day-to-day accounting operations.
• Prepare budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
• Manage company's budget utilization.

• Review and approve financial models and investment proposals.
• Represent finance in cross-functional initiatives and management meetings, offering financial insight to guide strategic direction.

Job Specification

Basic Qualification: Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Accounting.

Experience:

• Minimum 5-10 years of progressive experience in financial management, accounting, and risk compliance.
• At least 5 - 8 years in a managerial or senior supervisory role.
• Experience in environmental, engineering, or infrastructure-related industries is an advantage.
• Familiarity with both private sector financial regulations and statutory reporting (e.g., SSM, tax authorities).

Skills:

• In-depth of knowledge of Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS), Budgeting and forecasting, Financial modelling and analysis, Risk assessment methodologies, Statutory and tax regulations
• Proficiency in financial systems such as SQL, SAP, SAGE, or Oracle.
• Advanced Excel and financial dashboard reporting.
• Strong leadership and decision-making skills.
• Analytical mindset with high attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Strategic thinking with a hands-on operational approach.
