Jora Malaysia is seeking an experienced finance professional to manage full-spectrum accounting functions, including month-end close, financial reporting, and internal controls. You will coordinate audits, ensure regulatory compliance, and monitor fund usage for grants and restricted funds.

Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CPA, or equivalent would be an added advantage.
Several years of experience in finance/accounting roles, with exposure to full set accounting, financial reporting, audit, tax, compliance, and internal controls.
Strong understanding of accounting principles, month-end closing, financial analysis, statutory compliance, and reporting requirements.
Experience liaising with external auditors, tax agents, regulators, and managing compliance-related matters.
Experience in monitoring budgets, fund utilisation, restricted funds, or non-profit/organisation finance operations would be advantageous.
Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel; experience with finance system improvements, automation, or digitalisation initiatives is preferred.

Coordinated audit, tax, and statutory compliance matters by liaising with external auditors, tax agents, regulators, and outsourced accounting service providers.
Strengthened internal controls and governance by reviewing payment approvals, maintaining finance SOPs, monitoring regulatory requirements, and improving compliance processes.
Led finance process improvements through automation, digitalisation initiatives, system enhancements, and workflow optimisation to improve efficiency and reporting quality.
