Assistant Manager, Finance (Financial Reporting) responsible for reviewing and ensuring that management accounts and management reports are prepared on a timely basis, and proactively managing and leading accounting operations to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and financial reporting requirements.
Review and ensure that management accounts and management reports are prepared on a timely basis, and proactively manage and lead accounting operations to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and financial reporting requirements.
Manage all audit, taxation, and SST matters, including liaising with auditors and tax agents.
Manage the consolidation process for multiple legal entities, including intercompany transactions and elimination entries. Consolidated management reporting will also need to be prepared regularly.
Monitor and supervise the day-to-day operations of the accounts department and staff members.
Review and approve journal vouchers and invoices.
Ensure that International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) have been complied with in the preparation of financial statements.
Review balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and cash flow statement.
Review operations reports (AP, AR, FA listings, bank reconciliations, etc.), reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
Conduct month-end and year-end closing processes.
Guide accounting clerical staff by coordinating activities and answering questions.
Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting with more than 8 years of experience and at least 3 years of people management experience within a manufacturing environment.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with good understanding of business processes and systems optimization.
Comfortable interacting with all levels of management across multiple areas.
