Jora Malaysia is seeking a finance professional to manage monthly management accounts, group consolidation, and timely reporting in line with MFRS/IFRS.
You will prepare schedules, assist with budgets and forecasts, and coordinate with external auditors, ensuring compliance with deadlines and company policies.
The ideal candidate holds a finance degree or professional qualification (ACCA/CIMA/MIA), with at least three years' relevant experience and strong Excel skills.

Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports, carry out daily operations in finance and ensure compliance with reporting deadlines, company policies & SOPs, accounting standards as well as relevant laws and regulations.
Prepare supporting worksheets, financial information for Group consolidation, quarterly reporting and management reporting.
Prepare and analyses financial data and supporting schedules required for the Sustainability Report.
Assist in monthly and quarterly financial analysis, including variance analysis against budget, forecast and prior periods.
Prepare Group financial schedules, reconciliations and supporting documentation to support accurate and timely financial reporting.
Perform inter-company reconciliations and confirmations to support the Group consolidation process.
Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts, including the consolidation of financial information from subsidiaries and business units.
Provide financial information, schedules and supporting documentation to external auditors and professional advisors, as required.
Support the preparation and submission of regulatory and financial reporting requirements.
Perform any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Management from time to time.
A recognised Diploma or Degree in Finance, Accountancy, or a related discipline, or professional qualification such as ACCA, CIMA, MIA, MACPA, or equivalent.
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Finance/Accounting, preferably with exposure to Group Finance operations.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, with strong financial data analysis capabilities.
Strong technical knowledge of MFRS/IFRS and applicable financial reporting standards and requirements.
Good knowledge of Group consolidation, financial reporting, and intercompany transactions.
Strong proficiency in full-set accounts, financial reporting, monthly management reporting, quarterly reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills, with excellent attention to detail.
Proactive, self-driven, and results-oriented, with a high level of integrity and professionalism.
Highly motivated, adaptable, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
