Prestar Precision Tube Sdn Bhd in Rawang, Selangor is seeking an Assistant Business Development Manager to drive sales expansion. You will develop market strategies for new markets, guide a team of sales executives, and work toward achieving the monthly sales targets.

This role requires Mandarin fluency, a strong track record in steel sales, and willingness to travel. A relevant degree is preferred and you should own transport to visit customers and sites.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of sales experience in the steel industry.
• Must communicate in Mandarin due to business needs.
• Ability to manage customers and lead a sales team to targets.
• Willing to travel outstation and possess own transport.

Responsibilities

• Devise and execute marketing and sales strategies for new market development.
• Achieve sales targets and identify viability for new products.
• Build and lead a sales team for long-term market development and penetration.
• Coach and motivate team members to reach monthly targets and profit margins.
• Ensure timely collection of receivables and disposal of aging inventory.
• Report daily on outdoor activities and market movements to the Sales Director.

Assistant Business Development Manager - Rawang, Selangor

Responsibilities :

• Responsible to carry out the appropriate marketing and sales strategy for new market development, achieve sales target and to identify sales viability for new products development and marketing.
• To build and lead a team of sales executives section for the long term market development & penetration.
• To guide, coach, monitor & motivate the Team members to achieve the following objectives:-
• Achievement of monthly Sales target.
• Optimization of profit margin.
• Timely collection of outstanding receivables.
• Timely disposal of aging inventory.
• To be sensitive on market information and promptly feedback to management with recommendation of immediate actions.
• To cultivate the spirit of entrepreneurship & proactive in identifying opportunities and recommend actions to the management.
• Responsible for total inventory control with minimize of slow moving finish goods, WIP and mother coils.
• To propose & execute monthly sales forecast, yearly sales budget and MBO.
• To embrace the spirit of entrepreneurship and be proactive in identifying opportunities and recommend actions to the management.
• To submit sales report as and when required.
• To take up sales job responsibility from any resigned outdoor till replacement found.
• Report to Sales Director daily on outdoor sales activities, market movements, opportunity and progress towards sales targets.

Requirements :

• Possessed a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree in Business Studies/Marketing/Business Management or equivalent.
• Must have a minimum of 8 years of sales experience in the steel industry, with experience in sales and marketing.
• Required language: Mandarin (Able to communicate in Mandarin is a must due to nature of business).
• Must be able to manage customers, lead the sales team, and work towards achieving sales targets.
• Able to travel outstation.
• Motivated and passion in work.
• Possess own transport
• Willing to learn and good attitude
