Job summary

Tigges Fastener Technology (M) Sdn Bhd, a German manufacturer of high-end fasteners and cold-formed steel and stainless steel parts, seeks a proactive sales and marketing professional in Ipoh. The role focuses on growth across Southeast Asia with a strong emphasis on Mandarin-speaking client engagement.

The candidate will drive strategy, develop markets, and manage relationships while coordinating with internal teams to ensure top-tier service. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a similar sales and marketing position, with a proven track record of achieving results.
• Candidates fluent in Mandarin preferred as the role requires candidates to deal with Mandarin speaking clients.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement effective sales and marketing strategies to achieve business growth and revenue targets.
• Identify and develop new markets, business opportunities, and customers within Southeast Asia.
• Respond to customer inquiries, prepare quotations and proposals, and follow up on sales leads to convert opportunities into business.
• Conduct market research and monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers while developing new prospects via phone, email, and face-to-face engagements.
• Plan and coordinate customer visits, meetings, presentations, and business discussions.
• Prepare and deliver professional company and product presentations to customers and prospects.
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth coordination and excellent customer service.
• Be willing to travel locally and overseas when required.
