Job summary

W GENERATION TRADING seeks an Application Support Specialist to maintain and support software for customers in Malaysia, with day and night shifts at Kepong and Damansara. The role covers training, installation, and client demonstrations.

You will handle POS issues, document user guides, and assist with software customization requests. Strong English, SQL and networking skills are essential, with a 4-on/4-off pattern and occasional travel.

Qualifications

• Diploma in IT-related field required.
• At least 1 year of working experience in related field.
• Good command in written and spoken English.
• Proficient in SQL and networking tools.

Responsibilities

• Training will be provided for knowledge transfer.
• Assist onsite/remote installation of systems; travel to new clients may be required.
• Take standby shifts to support users remotely.
• Perform onsite/remote training and product feature demonstrations for clients.
• Prepare and develop documentation including user guides and software customization requests and testing.
• Provide user support for POS and technical issues including remote troubleshooting.
• Track and resolve customer issues using the ticketing system.
• Ad hoc tasks as assigned by management.

Position : Application Support Specialist

Location : Morning Shift (Desa Aman Puri, Kepong) ; Night Shift (Imazium, Uptown Damansara)

Working Days : Follow a 4 days on, 4 days off work pattern, which includes weekends and public holiday as scheduled.

Job summary

Provide support and maintenance of software applications for customers to streamline their business operations.

Responsibility

• Training will be provided for job knowledge transfer.
• Required to assist with onsite / remote installation of systems especially to new clients to assist for project readiness (travelling to overseas may be required).
• Take up Standby shifts according to the duty roster to support users remotely.
• Perform onsite/remote training to clients and presentation to new and existing clients on product features.
• Prepare and develop of documentation on software user guide and software customisation request including software testing.
• Provide user support enquiries regarding Point-of-Sales (POS) and technical issues including remote troubleshooting and debugging of systems.
• Track, follow-up and resolve customer’s outstanding issues based on ticketing system.
• Any ad hoc tasks assigned from time to time by management.

Requirement

• Candidate with at least diploma in IT related field.
• At least 1 year of working experiences in the related field.
• Good command in written and spoken English.
• Good in SQL command and networking tools.
• Ability to multitask, fast learner and able to set priorities to complete work within deadlines.
