Job summary

City-Link Express and Logistics is seeking an ICT support professional for a hands-on role based in Petaling. The successful candidate will have a computer science background, some SQL/ETL experience, and familiarity with Windows server environments.

Fresh graduates are welcome, but at least two years of related experience is preferred. Strong English communication is required, with Bahasa Malaysia as an advantage.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent; CompTIA A+ networking is an advantage.
• Fresh graduates are welcomed.
• Minimum 2 years of working experience in ICT, with Windows Server, SQL Server, IIS and networking.
• Good command of written and spoken English; Bahasa Malaysia is an advantage.
• Work hours 8:35am–5:45pm, Mon–Fri.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Windows desktop and server OS.
• Experience in ICT system integration and end-user application support.
• Experience with MSSQL SSIS or ETL; translate business requirements into scope.
• Revise and improve EDI/SSIS scripting for new customers.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel macro.
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
• Understanding of software development lifecycle.
• Ability to prioritise, plan and execute work schedule.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-sales support on customer’s EDI requirements.
• Provide application support including issue investigation and root causes and solution implementation.
• Plan and conduct software tests.
• Conduct user-training sessions for new applications.
• Document implemented systems.
• Document resolutions for future reference.
• Provide first-level application support for all incoming requests professionally.
• Carry out other duties as assigned by the supervisor to avoid operation disruption.
