Job summary

Kuehne+Nagel is seeking a proactive Customer Care professional in Malaysia to join our Air Logistics sales function. You will join the Customer Care Team to deliver Customer Excellence and develop/ diversify business, driving income growth and strengthening long-term partnerships.

You will own and drive sales activities, align with Pricing and Air Logistics teams, monitor market pricing, and report customer feedback to improve service quality.

Qualifications

• Experience in air logistics or freight sales is preferred.
• Strong customer engagement and portfolio management.
• Ability to align sales with logistics teams and pricing.

Responsibilities

• Own, monitor and drive all sales activities of customers within your control.
• Qualify and nurture prospects through the sales pipeline to close profitable deals.
• Align sales with CCL Managers, Pricing and Air Logistics teams.
• Monitor competition by gathering marketplace pricing and product data.
• Report customer feedback to the CCL team and support resolutions.
• Onboard new customers in collaboration with CCL colleagues.
• Maintain and update key customer information in internal systems.
• Review customer portfolios with the CCL Managers and team.
• Focus on customer engagement, satisfaction, retention and reactivation.

Utilizing your demonstrated superior Air Logistics product + trade knowledge this role is primarily tasked with developing + diversifying business so that income increases, guaranteeing the future growth of the organization. Your core tasks + responsibilities will include:

• To own, monitor + drive all sales activities of customers within your control, ensuring prospects are identified, qualified + nurtured through the sales pipeline so as to close profitable + sustainable customer deals.
• To align your sales efforts with CCL Managers, Pricing + Air Logistics Business Development teams, including pricing decisions.
• To monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing + products.
• To report customer feedback to the CCL team, supporting resolutions as required.
• To align with CCL colleagues when onboarding new customers.
• To maintain + update the most relevant customer information in internal systems.
• To regularly review customer portfolios with the CCL Managers and team.
• To focus on customer engagement, satisfaction, retention + reactivation through high levels of service quality in close collaboration with the CCL.
