Job summary

Kuehne+Nagel is seeking to strengthen its Freight Logistics and Operations in Malaysia. You will join our Operational Care Team to deliver Operational Excellence by handling bookings, orders and import documentation while liaising with Customer Care Specialists to meet requirements.

You will monitor carrier performance, review routing changes, validate arrival notices and invoices, ensure compliant shipping documents, and support claims resolution as part of a global leader in logistics.

Qualifications

• Experience with logistics operations and carrier performance monitoring.
• Ability to review routing changes and coordinate with service providers.
• Familiarity with shipping instructions and import documentation.

Responsibilities

• monitor + report on operational performance of carriers + other vendors as well as ensuring strong data quality for timely + accurate customer reporting.
• review any routing changes, collaborating with the CCL + service providers, re-arranging KN services if necessary.
• validate + follow up with carriers on arrival notices + carrier invoices ensuring timely delivery order (DO) receipts.
• ensure shipping instructions + documents are compliant; that deviations are quickly addressed.
• coordinate with all suppliers + internal stakeholders for shipment imports, arranging for KN services (trucking, customs clearance) where necessary.
• elevate issues as relevant, + to support the resolution of claims + disputes.
• check incoming invoices, create sales invoices, managing FSL as per Financial Guidelines + working instructions.
• to release cargo in line with working instructions + Financial Guidelines

How you create impact

You will be joining our Operational Care Team to add your expertise + skills to the delivery of Operational Excellence. You will be enabling transport activities by executing bookings, entering orders + generating all required import documentation while liaising with our Customer Care Specialists (CCL) to ensure all requirements are met (in a timely and efficient manner). As always, these activities are in line with all relevant governance + regulatory requirements.
