Kuehne+Nagel in Malaysia is seeking a pricing specialist within our Air Logistics team to support growth by delivering pricing insights and collaborating with internal stakeholders. Your work will help shape competitive offers and ensure pricing aligns with business development goals.

How you create impact

You will be part of our Air Logistics team, leading the delivery of our growth objectives with your pricing expertise + skills.

What we would like you to bring

Your primary objective will be to deliver against our growth strategy by ensuring that pricing support to business development is a priority + key factor in gaining + retaining volumes. You will do this by working with a variety of internal + external stakeholders while focusing on the following key objectives:

To gain insight on quoted business + share the same with your team working on pricing requests, ensuring appropriate pricing solutions are offered.

To liaise closely + regularly with the procurement + carrier management team, staying ahead of market changes, then incorporating the knowledge in pricing solutions.

To pro-actively gain + share information on target customers from a pricing perspective, keeping our procurement teams well informed on target business to support carrier discussions.

To guide the teams to present various alternative pricing options, providing development teams with enough flexibility when engaging with customers.

To liaise between the pricing + the procurement teams, periodically participating in carrier discussions to share deeper business insights for building solutions for our customers, keeping the pricing team informed on carrier updates when working on pricing requests.

To initiate trade lane promotions based on knowledge of market gained from our development + procurement teams to help build additional business volumes.
