MYS ENGINEERING SDN. BHD. is seeking an Accounts & Procurement Executive in Kelana Jaya, Selangor. This full-time role oversees accounts payable, supplier coordination, purchasing and documentation, ensuring accurate records and timely payments.

Ideal candidates hold a Diploma in Accounting and 2–3 years in AP or related roles, with procurement exposure and strong Excel/accounting software knowledge. Growth and supportive team environment offered.

Job description

We are seeking an Accounts & Procurement Executive to join our team in Kelana Jaya, Selangor. This full-time role is responsible for managing accounts payable activities and supporting procurement operations, including supplier coordination, purchasing, documentation and payment processes. The role requires strong attention to detail, good coordination skills and the ability to manage financial and procurement matters efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage accounts payable transactions, including invoice verification, payment processing and reconciliation.
• Maintain accurate supplier records, payment schedules and supporting documents.
• Liaise with suppliers and internal teams to resolve invoice, payment and delivery discrepancies.
• Source suppliers and obtain quotations for goods and services as required.
• Prepare and process purchase orders in accordance with company procedures.
• Monitor purchase orders and delivery schedules to ensure timely fulfilment.
• Reconcile supplier statements and follow up on outstanding matters.
• Maintain accurate accounting and procurement records for reporting, audit and compliance purposes.
• Prepare accounts payable and procurement reports for management review.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For

• Certificate or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, Business, Procurement or a related field; relevant practical experience will also be considered.
• 2-3 years of relevant experience in accounts payable, accounting or a similar role.
• Experience in procurement, purchasing or supplier management is an advantage.
• Good knowledge of accounts payable, invoicing, payment and reconciliation processes.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and accounting software.
• Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy in financial and procurement records.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with suppliers and internal teams.
• Proactive, responsible and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Knowledge of relevant accounting, taxation and compliance requirements is an advantage.
