Job summary

Dematic is hiring an Accounts Payable Officer to manage region-wide AP processes, reimbursements, and CAPEX tracking. You will support month-end reporting and pursue process improvements. The role requires meticulous attention and collaboration with stakeholders across Asia.

You will work in a dynamic team environment, using ERP systems and MS Office to ensure timely and accurate financial operations. Fluency in Chinese and English is advantageous for cross-functional coordination.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of accounts payable experience.
• Degree in accounting or related field preferred.
• Proficient with ERP systems and MS Office; strong accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Process supplier invoices accurately and timely.
• Attend to vendor queries and reconcile statements.
• Handle employee reimbursements and expense claims.
• Prepare month-end cost accruals and related schedules.
• Maintain Fixed Asset Register and Capex reporting.
• Provide training and support to new staff on processes.

You’ll be responsible for processing supplier invoices, managing employee reimbursements, supporting month-end reporting, and contributing to CAPEX tracking. WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Process Accounts Payable Invoices accurately and on a timely basis
• Attend to vendor queries
• Perform Reconciliations including supplier statement reconciliations
• Employee Reimbursements Administration
• Maintenance of claims systems Eg adding new employee master or variables
• Provide claims training for new employees
• Ensure claims are made as per company policy and individual entitlement
• Generate journals for claims in ERP
• Reconcile claims against credit card bills.
• Process payment to employees.
• Preparation of month-end cost accruals
• Open Purchase Order Report and Housekeeping
• Maintain Fixed Asset Register
• Capex Reporting and Forecasting
• Identify improvements to Accounts Payable and Claims Process
• Act as a support and backup for team members
• Any other ad-hoc duties as required or assigned

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications
• Excellent written and communication skills
• Good proficiency in written and spoken Chinese and English to support daily operations and work collaboratively with various stakeholders across Asia.

Experience Desired:

• At least 2 years working experience in Accounts Payable roles
• Tertiary qualified in an Accounting or related discipline
