  • Maintain the credit card register and process acquittals in line with policies.
  • Manage the Accounts Payable mailbox and respond to queries promptly.
  • Upload and post weekly, semi-monthly and monthly regional field vouchers.

Job description

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Officer to join Palladium’s APAC Corporate team, supporting the regional finance function in managing day-to-day financial transactions.

As part of Palladium, a global leader in creating positive social and economic impact, this role will play an important part for managing and processing the company's financial transactions related to expenses. This role ensures the accurate and timely verification and processing of invoices, undertakes credit card reconciliations, maintains accurate financial records and manages vendor relationships.


What you'll be doing

Primary Responsibilities

Oversee the day-to-day processing and payment of supplier invoices, expense claims, and fast track payments. This includes setting up new vendors, ensuring all documentation complies with company policies, validating project and account codes, confirming approvals, entering data accurately, and maintaining organised filing systems.

Ensure that Accounts Payable policies and procedures are consistently applied across the business, ensuring adherence to internal controls and regulatory requirements to prevent errors and fraud.

Prepare various types of payments, including ad-hoc payments, file upload payments, ACH payments, telegraphic transfers, and foreign currency deals.

Maintain the credit card register and process credit card acquittals, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately and comply with company policies.

Manage the Accounts Payable mailbox, including unpacking payment requests and addressing queries promptly and efficiently, ensuring all communications are handled professionally and in line with company procedures.

Upload and post all weekly, semi-monthly, and monthly regional field vouchers, ensuring timely and accurate recording of financial transactions.

Handle ad-hoc and monthly recodes, ensuring all adjustments are made accurately and in compliance with financial policies.

Assist the Accounts Payable and Finance teams as required in the production of procedures, reports and other documentation.

Support the maintenance of accurate business data on corporate databases and systems.

Assist with supporting quality assurance and managing risk - supporting its identification, reporting, management and mitigation.

Understand how innovation and technology shape the way we work and introduce new ways of working through AI, data and technology.

Qualifications in a relevant discipline or equivalent level of experience;

Strong written and verbal communication skills;

Financial and commercial acumen, including fundamental understanding of accounting and excellent skills in Excel;

Highly developed organisational skills, attention to detail and accuracy; and the ability to balance and prioritise multiple tasks and work well under pressure;
