Job summary

Van Leeuwen Pipe & Tube (Singapore) Pte Ltd in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an Accounts Payable Executive to handle supplier invoices, ensure documentation, and post transactions in the correct accounting period.

You will manage AP processes, support intercompany reconciliations, verify invoice accuracy, and assist in maintaining internal controls using SAP B1 and MS Excel, in a fast-paced, dynamic environment at Mid Valley.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Accounting, Bachelor Degree would be an advantage.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to interact with all levels of employees.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and Word.
• Must possess initiative and a strong motivation to seek continuous improvement.
• SAP B1 knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage accounts payable and ensure all supplier's invoices are supported with the necessary documentation to be recognized in the correct accounting period.
• Ensure accuracy of an organization's financial documents for payment, auditing and tax purposes.
• Support intercompany receivable and payables reconciliations.
• Verify that all creditors' invoices are valid, accurate and duly approved before processing payment.
• Assist in resolving supplier and intercompany disputes professionally with Sales and Operations.
• Ensure timely payments to vendors through effective monitoring.
• Maintain and update changes in vendor name, address, payment code, etc in SAP B1 system.
• Maintain and reconciliation of periodic schedules.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies.

Accounts Executive (AP) - Based in Kuala Lumpur

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Executive with experience in Accounts Payable (AP). The ideal candidate is a quick learner who can adapt in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight reporting deadlines.

Key responsibilities

Manage accounts payable and ensure all supplier's invoices are supported with the necessary documentation to be recognized in the correct accounting period
