Job summary

Roda Land Sdn Bhd, Malaysia’s leading off-road tyres specialist, is seeking a detail-focused Finance Officer to join our growing team in Selangor. You will handle data entry, reconciliation, invoice processing, e-invoicing support, and maintain compliant financial records.

The role requires a Diploma or Bachelor's in Business/Accounting/Finance, 1–3 years’ experience, proficiency in AutoCount, Excel, PowerPoint, and Mandarin will be prioritized when dealing with suppliers.

Qualifications

• Requires Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or Economics.
• 1–3 years of work experience in finance and accounting.
• Experience with computerized accounting systems, preferably AutoCount.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel for reporting; PPT and Power BI knowledge.
• Languages: English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin (Mandarin priority when dealing with China suppliers).
• Own transport is required.

Responsibilities

• Data entry of financial transactions into accounting software or spreadsheets.
• Reconcile bank statements and accounts payable/receivable records to ensure accuracy.
• Process invoices, including verification, coding, and timely payments to vendors.
• Assist with generation and management of e-invoices to meet requirements.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and maintain proper financial documentation.
• Organize and file financial documents for easy retrieval.

• Data Entry: This involves inputting financial transactions into accounting software or spreadsheets accurately and efficiently.
• Reconciliation: Assist in reconciling bank statements, accounts payable, or accounts receivable records to ensure they match and resolve any discrepancies.
• Invoice Processing: Helping with the processing of invoices, which includes verifying invoices, coding them correctly, and ensuring timely payments to vendors.
• E-Invoicing Support: Assist in generating, uploading, and managing e‑invoices to comply with government or company requirements.
• Compliance and Documentation: Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies and maintaining accurate financial records and documentation.
• Documentation and Filing: Maintaining organized records and filing systems for financial documents, making them easily accessible when needed.

Job Requirement:

• Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree in Business Accounting/ Finance/ Economics or equivalent.
• At least 1-3 years of working experience in the finance and accounting field is required for this position.
• Experienced in computerized accounting system, preferably AutoCount system.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel for reporting , PPT, Power BI.
• Required Language(s): English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin. Mandarin will be priority as need to deals with China supplier.
