Job summary

PG SIGNATURE CAKE SDN. BHD. is seeking an Accounts Executive to support daily accounting functions including accounts payable, bank reconciliations, and month-end close.

The role requires a degree or diploma in accounting with at least 2 years of experience, preferably in retail or F&B operations. The successful candidate will ensure accurate recording, timely settlements, and assist auditors while maintaining proper records and compliance with SST/e-Invoice requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or advanced diploma in accounting, finance, or other professionally recognized qualifications such as ACCA/CIMA or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Record and reconcile daily sales transactions from retail outlets and online platforms.
• Verify sales collections against POS reports, bank receipts, and merchant settlement reports.
• Monitor outstanding receivables and assist in collection follow-up.
• Follow up on discrepancies with relevant departments.
• Process supplier invoices and ensure supporting documents are complete.
• Prepare payment vouchers, staff expense claims and payment schedules.
• Maintain proper supplier records and reconcile supplier statements.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations and investigate reconciling items.
• Conduct daily merchant settlement reconciliations and follow up on discrepancies.
• Monitor cash collections and ensure timely recording in the accounting system.
• Assist in identifying and resolving discrepancies relating to cash collections.
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Prepare schedules and supporting documents for financial reporting.
• Assist in balance sheet reconciliations and account analyses.
• Support internal and external auditors during audit exercises.
• Maintain proper accounting records and filing systems.
• Ensure accounting transactions are recorded accurately and timely.
• Assist in e-Invoice and SST-related documentation when required.
• Perform any other duties assigned by Management.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree oradvanceddiploma inaccounting, finance, orotherprofessionally recognizedqualificationsuch asACCA/CIMA or equivalent.

Minimum2yearsof working experience.

Experience in retail, food manufacturing, bakery, F&B, or multi-outlet business will be an added advantage.

Proficiency in English is required for this role.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
