Job summary

Private Advertiser in Batu Pahat, Johor is seeking a capable accountant to manage the full set of accounts and keep financial records accurate and current.

You will handle daily invoices, payments, journal entries, reconciliations, and SST submissions where required, prepare monthly financial statements, and produce management reports to support business decisions.

Qualifications

• Diploma/LCCI/Bachelor’s in accounting or finance.
• ACCA or CPA partially/fully qualified preferred.
• Junior position: 0–2 years experience; fresh graduates welcome.
• Senior position: >2 years in full-set accounting and reporting.
• Self-driven, able to work independently and in a team, and able to handle pressure.

• Coordinate with auditors, tax agents and relevant authorities.

What We’re Looking For

Diploma, LCCI or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field. Candidates with ACCA or CPA, fully or partly qualified, are highly preferred.

Junior position (up to RM3,000): 0–2 years of relevant experience. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

Senior position (up to RM5,000): more than 2 years of experience in full-set accounting and reporting.

Self-driven and responsible, able to work independently and in a team, and able to handle pressure.

Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and UBS accounting software.

Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia. Mandarin is an advantage for communicating with Mandarin-speaking clients and stakeholders.

Willing to work in Batu Pahat, Johor.

Salary will depend on qualifications and experience. The upper end of the range is for experienced, senior-level candidates.
