Job summary

Spiced Malahotpot Restaurant Sdn Bhd is seeking a dedicated accounting professional in Johor Bahru to manage the full set of accounts, prepare monthly management accounts, and maintain accurate records. The role includes payroll and HR administration, SST reporting, and supporting tax documentation.

You will coordinate with outlet operations across the group, ensuring timely financial information and compliance with statutory requirements.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Experience handling full set of accounts preferred.
• Familiar with Malaysian payroll, EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB and SST.
• Experience in F&B or multi-outlet environments is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Handle full set of accounts, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, bank reconciliation, and month-end closing.
• Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and documentation.
• Assist with SST reporting, tax documentation, and audit preparation.
• Monitor daily sales records, expenses, payments, and financial transactions.
• Payroll & HR responsibilities: verify payroll, attendance, deductions, and statutory contributions.
• Support HR administrative tasks and coordinate with outlets for financial information.
• Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned.

Accounting

• Handle full set of accounts, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, bank reconciliation, and month-end closing.
• Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and ensure proper documentation.
• Assist with tax-related documentation, SST reporting, and audit preparation.
• Monitor daily sales records, expenses, payments, and financial transactions.

Payroll & HR Administration

• Check and verify monthly payroll, overtime, allowances, deductions, and staff attendance records.
• Ensure payroll information is accurate before processing.
• Assist with statutory contributions and submissions, including EPF, SOCSO, EIS, and PCB.
• Maintain employee records and support HR administrative tasks when required.

Administrative Support

• Handle general administrative duties and maintain proper filing systems.
• Assist with invoices, payment vouchers, claims, and other supporting documents.
• Coordinate with outlet operations and other departments to obtain the necessary financial information.
• Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 2–3 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Experience handling full set of accounts is preferred.
• Experience in the F&B, retail, or multi-outlet business environment will be an advantage.
• Familiar with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Knowledge of Malaysian payroll, EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB, and SST procedures.
• Meticulous, organised, responsible, and able to meet deadlines.
• Able to work independently and coordinate effectively with different departments.
