The ideal candidate will have 1–2 years of relevant experience, be proficient in Autocount and Microsoft Office, and demonstrate strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail.

Qualifications

• At least 1–2 years of relevant experience in an accounts assistant or similar administrative role.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills with an eye for detail.
• Proficient in Autocount accounting software and Microsoft Office suite.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively.
• Proactive and organised with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of Bahasa Malaysia and English.

Responsibilities

• Process and record daily financial transactions including accounts payable, accounts receivable and petty cash.
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records and preparing financial reports.
• Assisting with bank reconciliations and month-end accounts closing processes.
• Providing support with the preparation of invoices, statements and other financial documents.
• Performing data entry and general administrative duties as required.
• Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to resolve queries and issues.

About the role

We are seeking an Accounts Assistant to join our growing team at HAP FATT MARINE PRODUCTS SDN. BHD. in Lahad Datu, Sabah. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for providing administrative and accounting support to ensure the smooth running of our finance operations.

What you'll be doing

Processing and recording daily financial transactions including accounts payable, accounts receivable and petty cash
