Role Description

As an Accounting Associate, you will support the day-to-day financial operations of Streamline Studios by ensuring complete and accurate transaction documentation, assisting with compliance activities, and contributing to budget and reporting processes. While your primary work will be in Xero, you’ll also interact with Microsoft Dynamics and QuickBooks to help maintain and organize legacy financial data.

You’ll work closely with the Finance Manager and external bookkeepers to ensure financial integrity, regulatory compliance, and smooth month-end operations.

Note: This position requires full-time on-site presence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure financial transaction data and supporting documents are complete, accurate, and up to date for external bookkeeping.
  • Maintain organized records of payables, receivables, and expense claims.
  • Assist with tax and statutory submissions (e.g., VAT, WHT, corporate tax) and ensure compliance with global financial regulations.
  • Prepare audit-ready documentation and support internal/external audit processes.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting by organizing financial data and tracking actuals.
  • Work in Xero and assist with accessing and organizing legacy data from Microsoft Dynamics and QuickBooks.
  • Help improve finance processes and documentation workflows.
  • Respond promptly to internal finance queries and meet task deadlines.
Performance Metrics

Accounting Associates will be evaluated based on the following metrics:

  • Accuracy of Information – Data and documentation are correct on first submission.
  • Task Completion – Tasks are completed on time and to standard, with minimal follow-up.
  • Response Time – Queries are addressed within agreed SLAs.
  • Compliance Support – Submission support and audit prep are timely and complete.
  • Efficiency – Outputs are delivered within expected timeframes.
Job Skills

Accounting Associates Will Possess The Following Competencies

  • Proficiency in Xero; exposure to Microsoft Dynamics and QuickBooks preferred.
  • Strong Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables).
