A tech company in Malaysia is seeking an experienced Financial Manager to lead financial operations including monthly closings, annual budgets, and audits. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Accountancy and a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in Finance and Accounting, ideally in a public-listed company. Strong communication skills and familiarity with Bursa Malaysia's requirements are preferred. This role also offers various benefits including medical coverage and training opportunities.
Reporting to Financial Controller, ensure the timely and accurate completion of monthly financial closing, including preparation of financial statements and analyses to support management decision-making.
Manage quarterly closing and reporting, ensuring compliance with listing requirement and accounting standards.
Strengthen financial reporting capabilities and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Develop and manage annual budgets, track financial performance & KPIs, and provide financial forecasts for strategic planning.
Lead the year-end audit and corporate tax submission, liaising with auditors, tax agents, and relevant statutory bodies/authorities.
Maintain strong internal controls and financial governance to safeguard company assets, ensure compliance with applicable laws and listing regulations.
Assist the Head of Department in leading the finance team, providing mentorship and guiding financial planning, and financial matters.
