Job description

Reporting to Financial Controller, ensure the timely and accurate completion of monthly financial closing, including preparation of financial statements and analyses to support management decision-making.

Manage quarterly closing and reporting, ensuring compliance with listing requirement and accounting standards.

Strengthen financial reporting capabilities and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Develop and manage annual budgets, track financial performance & KPIs, and provide financial forecasts for strategic planning.

Lead the year-end audit and corporate tax submission, liaising with auditors, tax agents, and relevant statutory bodies/authorities.

Maintain strong internal controls and financial governance to safeguard company assets, ensure compliance with applicable laws and listing regulations.

Assist the Head of Department in leading the finance team, providing mentorship and guiding financial planning, and financial matters.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or other professional accounting qualification.
• A member of Malaysian Institute of Accountants is preferred.
• Experience with listing on Bursa Malaysia and its listing requirements is preferred.
• Good sense of business acumen and versatile.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant working experience in Finance, Accounting & Treasury, preferably in a public-listed company.
