Advanrail Sdn. Bhd. invites applications for an Accounts Receivable & Payments specialist in Malaysia. The role focuses on invoicing, SOA, collections and payments across local and international banking channels.

You will maintain accurate records, coordinate with clients and banks, and support management with payment reporting. Diploma or degree in accounting is required; experience in AR/AP is preferred.

• Experience with banks and overseas remittances is a plus.
• You must be organized and able to handle confidential information.

Responsabilités

• Prepare and issue invoices to clients.
• Prepare Statements of Account (SOA) and monitor outstanding payments.
• Follow up with clients on overdue invoices and payment status.
• Monitor incoming payments and ensure receipts are recorded.
• Coordinate with clients to resolve payment discrepancies.
• Process supplier invoices and arrange payments per terms.
• Prepare payment requests and supporting documents for approval.
• Coordinate miscellaneous payments and ensure proper documentation.
• Monitor payment due dates and ensure timely settlement.
• Coordinate banking activities including remittances and bank inquiries.
• Prepare documents for international transfers and seek necessary approvals.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and reconcile accounts.

1. Accounts Receivable & Customer Payments

Prepare and issue invoices to clients.

Prepare Statements of Account (SOA) and monitor outstanding payments.

Follow up and liaise with clients regarding overdue invoices and payment status.

Monitor incoming payments and ensure receipts are properly recorded.

Coordinate with clients to resolve payment discrepancies and outstanding account issues.

Process supplier invoices and arrange payments according to approved payment terms.

Prepare payment requests and supporting documents for management approval.

Coordinate miscellaneous and operational payments, ensuring all payments are properly documented and approved.

Monitor payment due dates and ensure timely settlement of approved payments.

3. Banking & Payment Coordination

Coordinate inward and outward remittances through overseas banking channels.

Prepare and submit the required supporting documents for international transfers.

Follow up with banks regarding incoming and outgoing payments, transfer status and transaction issues.

Coordinate with authorised signatories and management to obtain the necessary payment approvals.

4. General Accounts Administration

Maintain accurate accounting records, invoices, payment vouchers and supporting documents.

Reconcile customer and supplier accounts and investigate discrepancies.

Maintain an updated record of outstanding receivables and upcoming payables.

Prepare regular payment and collection status reports for management.

Perform other finance and accounting duties as assigned.

Requirements

Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.

Relevant experience in accounts receivable, accounts payable and general accounting.

Familiarity with invoicing, SOA preparation, payment processing and collection follow-ups.

Experience dealing with banks and overseas remittances will be an advantage.

Good communication and coordination skills when dealing with clients, suppliers, banks and management.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.

Detail-oriented, organised, responsible and able to meet deadlines.

Able to work independently and handle confidential financial information professionally.
