About the role
We are seeking an Account Assistant to join the accounting team at HENG LEON ELECTRICAL WORKS. This is a full-time position based in Kuching, Sarawak. As an Account Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our financial operations and ensuring accurate record-keeping across all business transactions. This position is essential to maintaining the integrity of our financial systems and supporting the wider finance function of the organization.
Key Responsibilities

Accounting Duties:

Accounts Payable & Receivable: Issue invoices, uploaded e-invoice via accounting software, record payments, and process vendor bills.

Data Entry: Accurately input daily financial transactions, receipts, and expense reports into accounting software (SQL)

Documentation: Manage petty cash transactions and securely organize financial documents for audits.

Issue company invoice

Administrative Duties:

General Clerical Support: Manage correspondence, answer phone calls, and greet visitors.

Record Keeping: Maintain and archive both physical and digital files.

Ad-Hoc Tasks: Assist management or human resources with scheduling, reporting, or special projects.

Fill the BOQ: Accurately input unit rates and total amounts into the client-provided BOQ template.
