What you'll be doing

• Processing and recording financial transactions, including invoices, expenses, and receipts
• Assisting with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
• Maintaining accurate and organised financial records and documentation
• Supporting the preparation of financial statements and reports
• Data entry and maintaining accounting databases and systems
• Liaising with suppliers, customers, and internal stakeholders regarding financial matters
• Assisting with general administrative tasks as required by the accounting department
• Ensuring compliance with accounting policies and procedures

What we're looking for

• Qualification in accounting, bookkeeping or a related field (SPM, Diploma or Bachelor's degree)
• Proven experience as an Account Assistant, accounting clerk or similar accounting support role
• Strong proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word)
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping
• Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and practices
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication skills and professional demeanor
• Knowledge of the logistics and transportation industry is advantageous
• Knowledge in SQL Systems
