Cerebrocare in Monterrey, MX is hiring a Virtual Medical Assistant to provide remote clinical and administrative support to our neurology clinics in the United States. This full-time contractor role is based from Mexico with potential hybrid work and requires you to work U.S.

clinic hours. Ideal candidates are healthcare professionals with medicine, nursing, or psychology degrees, fluent in English and Spanish, strong communication, and solid computer skills.

Formación

• Completed degree in Medicine, Nursing, Psychology, or a related healthcare field in Mexico.
• Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Bilingual English/Spanish with ability to communicate with U.S. clinics.
• Reliable internet and home-office setup; capable of working U.S. clinic hours.

Responsabilidades

• Provide virtual clinical and administrative support to neurology clinics.
• Assist with patient scheduling, follow-ups, and appointment coordination.
• Contact patients by phone to confirm appointments and gather information.
• Assist with patient intake and documentation.
• Update and maintain accurate patient information in the EHR.
• Coordinate referrals, orders, and other patient-related tasks.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and professional communication with staff.
• Deliver excellent patient support and customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide virtual clinical and administrative support to our neurology clinics.
• Assist with patient scheduling, follow-ups, and appointment coordination.
• Contact patients by phone to confirm appointments and gather necessary information.
• Assist with patient intake and documentation.
• Update and maintain accurate patient information in the EHR.
• Assist clinical staff with medical records and documentation.

Requirements

• Bilingual English/Spanish – required.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.

• Availability to work U.S. clinic hours/time zones.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in a medical clinic or healthcare setting.
• Experience with U.S. healthcare/medical clinics is highly preferred.
• Experience in neurology or other specialty clinics.
• Familiarity with EHR/EMR systems.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Experience with patient scheduling and medical documentation.
• Familiarity with HIPAA and U.S. healthcare workflows.
