Emerson in Mexico's Jalisco region seeks an experienced Operations leader to drive planning, manufacturing, shipping and maintenance within the plant. You will lead a cross-functional team to ensure on-time delivery while championing Lean and continuous improvement initiatives.

The role requires strong skills in budgeting, metrics and talent development, with emphasis on quality, safety and environmental standards; collaboration with HR for labor relations is essential for success.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in a Value Stream Manager or similar leadership role within manufacturing.
• Experience leading production, planning, maintenance, and logistics.
• Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, CI, and Operational Excellence.
• Experience managing budgets, operational metrics, and performance indicators.
• Advanced English proficiency.

Responsabilidades

• Participate in plant-wide strategic initiatives related to productivity, quality, safety, and organizational culture.
• Partner with Human Resources in labor relations and union-related activities.

For This Role, You Will Need:

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a Value Stream Manager, Operations Manager, Plant Manager, or similar leadership role within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience leading production, planning, maintenance, and logistics functions.
• Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, and Operational Excellence methodologies.
• Experience managing budgets, operational metrics, and performance indicators.
• Advanced English proficiency.

Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:

• Master's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related discipline.
• Experience in metalworking manufacturing processes, including casting, forging, machining, and assembly.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Systems.
• Experience with business intelligence tools and data automation initiatives.
• Experience working in unionized manufacturing environments.
