Emerson is seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor to oversee daily production activities, coordinate planning, and drive improvements in quality, safety, and efficiency. You will lead operators, ensure equipment readiness, and collaborate with maintenance, materials, and scheduling teams to meet targets.

The role emphasizes coaching, data-driven decisions, and adherence to procedures within a dynamic manufacturing environment. A strong emphasis on safety and continuous improvement is essential.

Formación

  • Experience leading or supervising manufacturing or assembly operations in a production environment.
  • Working knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality systems, and safety practices.
  • Ability to analyze production data, manage priorities, and make timely, informed decisions.
  • Comfort using standard business and production systems, including data tracking and reporting tools.

Responsabilidades

  • Supervise and coordinate daily manufacturing activities to meet production, quality, safety, and delivery targets.
  • Plan and review production work orders, determining labor, material, and time requirements to support efficient execution.
  • Ensure equipment and machinery are in good working condition, partnering with maintenance teams to address preventive and corrective needs.
  • Confirm materials are available at the production line and resolve material flow issues with materials and scheduling teams.
  • Verify completed work orders are properly assembled, packed, and quality-approved for shipping or warehousing.
  • Provide direct leadership to operators, ensuring adherence to assembly and testing procedures, and quality standards.
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, safety, and product quality.
  • Support root cause analysis for safety incidents and implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Maintain a safe, organized, and compliant work environment, promoting safety awareness and training.
  • Manage employee time and attendance through electronic systems and support payroll processing.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
  • Supervise and coordinate daily manufacturing activities to meet production, quality, safety, and delivery targets.
  • Plan and review production work orders, determining labor, material, and time requirements to support efficient execution.
  • Ensure equipment and machinery are in proper working condition, partnering with maintenance teams to address preventive and corrective needs.
  • Confirm materials are available at the production line and resolve material flow issues in collaboration with materials and scheduling teams.
  • Verify completed work orders are properly assembled, packed, quality-approved, and accurately recorded in the system for shipping or warehousing.
  • Provide direct leadership to operators, supporting adherence to assembly and testing procedures, work instructions, and quality standards.
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives alongside Manufacturing Engineering to enhance efficiency, safety, and product quality.
  • Support root cause analysis for safety incidents and implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Maintain a safe, organized, and compliant work environment by promoting safety awareness, training, and environmental stewardship.
  • Manage employee time and attendance through electronic systems and support fair, accurate payroll processing.

Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
  • Experience in manual assembly or machining environments such as CNC, lathes, or metal finishing processes.
  • Exposure to continuous improvement methodologies and structured problem‑solving tools.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems, preferably Oracle, and data‑driven decision making.
  • Experience supporting equipment maintenance coordination, budget awareness, or product transfer activities.
  • Ability to communicate in both English and Spanish in a manufacturing setting.
