The role requires 2–3 years in logistics, strong knowledge of Mexico/U.S. customs, and proficient Excel/ERP/SAP usage. Fluent Spanish with good English is essential for coordination with customers and suppliers.

Formación

• 2–3 years of experience in import/export logistics, freight forwarding, customs brokerage, or manufacturing logistics.
• Familiar with Mexican and U.S. customs regulations, cross-border transportation, import/export documentation, and customs clearance processes.
• Experience coordinating with freight forwarders, bonded warehouses, customs brokers, carriers, and shelter companies.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and ERP/SAP systems with attention to detail for customs reconciliation and record management.
• Fluent in Spanish with good English communication skills; able to coordinate effectively with customers, suppliers, logistics providers, and internal teams.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate inbound shipments and import customs clearance with U.S. freight forwarders, San Diego bonded warehouse, shelter company, and customs brokers.
• Arrange local transportation with carriers & suppliers to support production and inventory requirements.
• Work with customers' carriers, customs brokers to ensure timely and compliant export shipment execution.
• Maintain accurate import/export customs records and reconcile with customs declarations, supporting audits and compliance.
• Verify freight invoices, process carrier payments, monitor logistics costs, and ensure accurate logistics documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage Import Operations: Coordinate inbound shipments with U.S. freight forwarders, San Diego bonded warehouse, shelter company, and customs brokers to ensure smooth import customs clearance.
• Coordinate Domestic Transportation: Arrange local transportation with carriers & suppliers to support production and inventory requirements.
• Handle Export Shipments: Work with customers' carriers, customs brokers to ensure timely and compliant export shipment execution.
• Customs Compliance & Record Reconciliation: Maintain accurate import/export customs records, perform reconciliation with customs declarations, and support audit and compliance requirements.
• Freight Cost & Payment Management: Verify freight invoices, process carrier payments, monitor logistics costs, and ensure accurate logistics documentation.

Experiencies Require:

• Experience in Logistics & Customs: Minimum 2-3 years of experience in import/export logistics, freight forwarding, customs brokerage, or manufacturing logistics.
• Mexico & U.S. Customs Knowledge: Familiar with Mexican and U.S. customs regulations, cross-border transportation, import/export documentation, and customs clearance processes.
• Logistics Coordination Skills: Experience working with freight forwarders, bonded warehouses, customs brokers, carriers, and shelter companies.
• System & Analytical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Excel and ERP/SAP systems with strong attention to detail for customs reconciliation and record management.
• Communication & Language Skills: Fluent in Spanish with good English communication skills; able to coordinate effectively with customers, suppliers, logistics providers, and internal teams.
