ANDREW, an Amphenol Company, seeks a logistics professional to analyze needs, source carriers, and manage import/export activities with SAP proficiency. You will coordinate with customers and forwarders, prepare shipment documents, and control costs to ensure compliant, efficient deliveries.

The candidate should have 2–5 years in import/export, be bilingual, and familiar with EHS/quality systems. APICS certification is preferred, and a strong multitasking capability is essential.

Formación

• University degree in a relevant field.
• 2–5 years of import/export experience, including maquila program.
• APICS certification preferred.
• Proficient with SAP and PC use.
• Knowledge of shipping regulations, traffic regulations, international regulations, licenses.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize.
• Bilingual English–Spanish.
• Knowledge of quality system and EHS management concepts.

Responsabilidades

• Analyzes company and customer needs, researching transportation methods and agencies to minimize cost.
• From shipment requirements, identify and select the carrier for different shipments.
• Coordinate with customers, freight forwarders and internal teams to ensure shipment coordination.
• Prepare documentation for shipments including invoices, packing lists and declarations.
• Release and audit bills of lading and monitor transportation costs; resolve shipment issues.
• Maintain clean, safe, and professional work area and wear PPE where required.
• Know the Entropy system and the responsibilities of the EHS system.

Duties and responsibilities

• Analyzes the needs of the company and customers, researching transportation methods and agencies, auditing costs and performance, to ensure the lowest transportation cost.
• Follow all instructions regarding work dictated by the immediate supervisor.
• From an analysis derived from the shipment requirements, identify and select the carrier for the different shipments.
• Interacts with internal and external customers, freight forwarders and agencies and other functional areas to ensure the coordination and logistics of shipments.
• Prepares documentation for shipments including documents, invoices, packing lists, export-import declarations, shipping instructions and any other required documents.
• Responsible for releasing and maintaining delivery documents, auditing bills of lading and receipts, and providing transportation costs. Resolve and follow up on shipment-related issues.
• Maintain your work area and equipment in a clean, safe and professional manner. The employee is expected to follow all safety rules, keep their work area clean and tidy; and wear your personal protective equipment (PPE) in areas that are needed.
• Have knowledge and management of the Entropy system.
• Know the responsibilities of the EHS system.

Qualification Requirements

• University degree
• Experience of two (2) to five (5) years in the area of importation of raw materials and equipment; as well as the export of finished product and return of machinery (maquila program).
• APICS certification preferred.
• Effective on the PC and highly familiar with SAP.
• Knowledge and/or experience in shipping regulations, traffic regulations, international regulations, certifications and import-export licenses.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks at once and prioritize them in order of importance.
• Bilingual English-Spanish.
• Knowledge of quality system and EHS management system concepts.
