Job summary

Atomic Hr in Mazatlán, Mexico is recruiting a Technical SEO Lead to drive technical audits, optimize crawlability, and guide developers with actionable specs across a portfolio of higher education clients. You’ll monitor Search Console and GA4, own AI-ready data structures, and shape how content is structured for reliable, verifiable rankings.

You’ll design Claude-based workflows, scale the service with reusable systems, and partner with the SEO Lead and Executive Director of SEO to deliver

Qualifications

• 5+ years in SEO, with at least 3 focused on technical SEO, ideally at an agency or across multiple sites
• Demonstrated ability to uncover high-impact issues and drive fixes
• Deep hands-on experience with Google Search Console, GA4, Screaming Frog, and Ahrefs or Semrush
• Strong working knowledge of WordPress themes, plugins, redirects, and schema
• Advanced hands-on experience with Claude, including building agents and AI-assisted workflows
• Clear written communication: specs for developers and client-friendly recommendations
• Ability to manage outcomes across many accounts simultaneously

Responsibilities

• Lead technical SEO across client accounts
• Run technical audits covering crawlability, indexation, site architecture, internal linking, Core Web Vitals, structured data, redirects, and broken links
• Prioritize issues by impact and defend those calls
• Write dev-ready specs for web developers and client teams and follow through to fixes
• Handle light WordPress implementation for titles/meta descriptions, redirects, and schema
• Monitor Search Console and GA4 to catch drops and indexing problems
• Own technical readiness for AI search (AEO/GEO) and content structure for LLM-driven search
• Design and build Claude-based tools, agents, and workflows for audits, reporting, and QA
• Build content production systems from briefs to near-publish-ready drafts
• Translate standards into reusable systems and document them
• Connect Search Console, GA4, crawl exports, and Ahrefs/Semrush into actionable workflows
• Document systems and train the team, measuring time savings and results
