Job summary

Atomic Hr is seeking a Technical SEO Lead to drive technical SEO across a portfolio of higher education partner accounts. You’ll diagnose crawl/indexing issues, write developer-ready specs, and verify fixes while also building Claude-based tools to automate audits, reporting, and content workflows.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in SEO with 3+ years in technical SEO, preferably across multiple sites or agencies.
• Proven ability to uncover high-impact issues, prioritize, and drive fixes.
• Hands-on proficiency with Google Search Console, GA4, Screaming Frog, and Ahrefs or Semrush.
• Strong WordPress knowledge for specing fixes and schema implementations.
• Experience building Claude-based tools and AI-assisted workflows used in production.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical SEO across client accounts including audits of crawlability, indexation, architecture, internal linking, Core Web Vitals, structured data, redirects and broken links.
• Prioritize issues by impact, write dev-ready specs, and verify fixes until live.
• Monitor and respond to Google Search Console and GA4 signals to prevent client drops.
• Build Claude-based tools, agents, and workflows for audits, reporting, QA, and content production.
• Design scalable systems that automate audits, prioritization, and client reporting.
• Collaborate with SEO Lead and client teams; participate in deep technical client calls.
