Job summary

Atomic Hr is seeking a Technical SEO Lead for a performance marketing agency focused on higher education and nonprofits. You will oversee technical SEO across client accounts, run audits, and design Claude-based AI workflows to automate audits, reporting, and QA, while also handling WordPress tweaks and ensuring AI-ready content structures.

You will work alongside the SEO Lead and support the Executive Director of SEO, owning outcomes across many accounts and driving scalable systems for audits,

Qualifications

• 5+ years in SEO with 3+ years in technical SEO.
• Proven ability to uncover high-impact issues and prioritize fixes.
• Hands-on experience with Google Search Console, GA4, Screaming Frog, and Ahrefs or Semrush.
• Strong WordPress knowledge including themes, plugins, redirects, and schema.
• Experience building Claude-based tools and AI-assisted workflows.
• Clear written communication and ability to spec fixes for developers.
• Comfort managing multiple accounts simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical SEO across client accounts and drive improvements.
• Run audits covering crawlability, indexation, architecture, internal linking, Core Web Vitals, structured data, redirects, and broken links.
• Prioritize issues by impact and defend decisions.
• Write dev-ready specs and verify fixes.
• Handle WordPress tweaks and schema with Yoast or Rank Math.
• Monitor GSC and GA4 for drops and indexing issues.
• Build Claude-based tools and workflows for audits and QA.
• Design scalable SEO systems and content production pipelines.
