Job summary

PepsiCo is seeking a Technical Accounting Coordinator for its Mexico entities. You will coordinate technical accounting, statutory reporting, audits, and governance to ensure accurate financial information and regulatory compliance.

The role partners with Finance, Controllership, and external auditors to drive standardization and continuous improvement across reporting processes and controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Strong technical accounting in IFRS, US GAAP and Mexican GAAP.
• Knowledge of internal controls, journal entry governance and SOX-like environments.
• Experience preparing, reviewing and analyzing quarterly and annual financial statements.
• Intermediate English for interaction with regional and corporate teams.
• Familiar with SIPRED and Mexican statutory requirements.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional projects with multiple stakeholders.
• Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Big4 audit or accounting advisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and execute key technical accounting and regulatory reporting.
• Manage external audit processes and financial statement preparation.
• Govern accounting controls and close activities (MJEs, balances).
• Oversee SOP accounting and professional fee accruals.
• Coordinate statutory/regulatory submissions (INEGI, etc.).
• Serve as liaison among Finance, Legal, and business teams.
• Support governance initiatives and process standardization.
• Provide accounting guidance across multiple stakeholders.
