Job summary

PepsiCo Inc. in Mexico City is seeking a Control & Reporting Accountant to lead financial reporting and governance, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely close. The role supports corporate and LATAM unit decision-making and requires cross-functional collaboration.

You will manage accruals and intercompany processes, audits, and balance sheet reviews, leveraging Oracle/SAP/HFM and advanced Excel. Candidates should have 2–3 years of accounting experience and an accounting degree.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is mandatory.
• 2–3 years of general accounting experience required.
• English level: Intermediate.
• Experience with Oracle, SAP or HFM is highly desirable.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel including pivot tables and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Accrual accounting and provisioning, including MIP bonus, intercompany process, and other accrued expenses.
• End-to-end intercompany process management, including calculation, recording, reconciliation, monitoring, and FAS/HFM reporting.
• Coordination and support of internal and external audits.
• Monthly close support, ensuring timely accounting entries and compliance with corporate policies.
• Financial control and reporting support for LATAM Operating Units (OUs).
• Account reconciliation, analysis, and Balance Sheet Review reporting.
