Job summary

Genpact is seeking a Tech Lead for Application Development in JAVA. Lead design and development of scalable backend services and platform APIs, implementing config-as-a-service for platform configuration and orchestration.

Collaborate across AI, frontend, and integration teams to deliver high-performance, multi-tenant solutions. You will work with microservices, REST APIs, and event-driven architectures, leveraging AWS and Kubernetes, and integrating with MES/Historian/LIMS systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degrees in Computer Engineering, CS, or IT.
• Master degree in Software Engineering preferred.
• Oracle Java certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable backend services and APIs.

• Enforce contract-first development (APIs, schemas, versioning).

• Hands-on with microservices, REST, and event-driven architectures.
• Experience with AWS, Kubernetes, and streaming systems like Kinesis.
