Genpact is seeking a backend engineer to design and develop scalable backend services and platform APIs from its Monterrey-based remote team. You will implement config-as-a-service architectures and build integration services for MES, Historian, and LIMS, while enforcing contract-first development and strong data isolation.

You will collaborate with AI, frontend, and integration teams, applying microservices, REST, and event-driven architectures.

Formación

• Bachelor's or master's degree in a STEM field (CS/CE/IT)
• Experience with Agile methodologies and microservices
• Proficient in Java and backend development

Responsabilidades

• Design and develop scalable backend services and platform APIs
• Implement config-as-a-service architecture for platform configuration and orchestration
• Build integration services for MES, Historian, LIMS, and external systems
• Enforce contract-first development with API schemas and versioning
• Develop multi-tenant aware services with data isolation
• Optimize backend for high-throughput industrial data processing (real-time + batch)
• Collaborate with AI, frontend, and integration teams
• Hands-on experience in microservices, REST APIs, event-driven architectures
• Experience with AWS services, Kubernetes, and streaming systems (Kinesis)
