Job summary

Genpact is seeking a Tech Lead - Application Development JAVA to design and build scalable backend services and APIs in a remote setup. You will implement config-as-a-service, integrate MES/Historian/LIMS systems, and drive high-throughput data processing with microservices and event-driven architectures.

Join a collaborative team working with AI, frontend, and integrations, leveraging AWS, Kubernetes, Kafka, and streaming technologies to deliver industrial-scale solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher in a computing-related field; CS/IT preferred.
• Experience designing scalable backend services and APIs.
• Strong knowledge of Agile, Kafka, AWS, Kubernetes, and microservices.
• Proven leadership and ability to drive collaboration in cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable backend services and platform APIs.
• Implement config-as-a-service architecture for platform configuration and orchestration.
• Build integration services for MES, Historian, LIMS, and external systems.
• Develop multi-tenant aware services with strict data isolation.
• Collaborate with AI, frontend, and integration teams; optimize for real-time data processing.
