Job summary

Alcon is seeking a US Surgical BPA Manager in Mexico City (Hybrid) to lead the Mexico-based BPA team supporting the US Surgical franchise. You will own the visibility and consolidation of the US Surgical P&L across month-end close, forecasting, and Target cycles, including payroll and margin tracking for 800+ employees.

In this role, you will coach a team, translate leadership requests into clear work plans, and drive continuous improvement in FP&A processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, engineering, or related discipline.
• 5+ years in FP&A, controlling, or business planning.
• Fluency in Spanish and English (oral and written).
• Strong P&L management, consolidation, and month-end close experience.
• Experience with payroll analysis and large workforce cost.
• ERP/BI proficiency: SAP, ASPIRE, APMR; Tableau/Power BI; advanced Excel.
• Executive communication and storytelling to influence senior leadership.
• Ability to work across countries and time zones.
• Leadership: coaching and developing high-performing teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Mexico-based BPA team and coordinate with US Surgical Finance leadership.
• Own US Surgical P&L visibility across close, forecast, and Target cycles.
• Manage payroll for 800+ employees and TFC oversight.
• Oversee margin tracking and end-to-end financial analysis.
• Coordinate Target submissions and consolidate regional figures.
• Drive process improvements and standardization across BPA deliverables.
• Provide strategic financial advisory to leadership.
