Job summary

albo is seeking an FP&A Analyst to join its Finance team in Mexico City. You will support budgeting, forecasting, monthly closing, and performance reporting, translating financial data into actionable insights to drive business performance.

You will collaborate with Accounting, Business, Product, and People teams, building and improving financial models, dashboards, and management reports. Fluency in English is a plus; the role emphasizes accuracy, timing, and stakeholder communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administração, or a related field.
• Experience in banking/fintech FP&A, planning, analysis or controlling.
• Strong understanding of financial statements, budgeting, forecasting and KPIs.
• Advanced Excel/Google Sheets, building financial models.
• Experience with management reports and variance analysis.
• Strong analytical skills and data-to-insights capability.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Strong communication and stakeholder skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the preparation and ongoing update of budgets, forecasts, and financial models.
• Participate in monthly close and ensure timely financial reporting with Accounting.
• Prepare monthly financial reports, management presentations, and KPI tracking.
• Analyze actual results against budget and forecast, identifying variances and drivers.
• Monitor revenue, COGS, operating expenses, and profitability across business lines.
• Maintain and improve financial models for planning, scenarios, and profitability.
• Support budget monitoring and expense control across departments.
• Identify opportunities to improve, standardize, and automate reporting and controls.
• Provide ad hoc financial analysis to support decisions.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure data consistency and alignment.
