Job summary

Alcon is seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join the Finance team in Mexico City, hybrid arrangement. You will ensure accurate financial recording, reconcile accounts, and prepare reports for internal and external stakeholders. 3 days in the office, with flexible options and exposure to international processes.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s in Accounting, 5+ years of experience, and strong English and MS Office/SAP skills to support global reporting and cost management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or finance.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with financial transaction recording standards (GL, tax, etc.).
• Control and reconcile balance sheets, P&L, and cash accounts.
• Prepare accounting reports and schedules for management and external audiences, including consolidation and budgeting.
