PayJoy, Inc. in Mexico City is seeking a Risk Strategy Manager to drive risk strategy implementation across 1–2 portfolios, ensuring KPI achievement and healthy growth through effective risk controls.

You will collaborate with GTM and Fraud teams and emphasize data-driven insights and hands-on contributions. Responsibilities include overseeing performance, preparing internal reports, documenting processes, and using SQL, R or Python to extract data and support ML/AI models with the Data Science

Qualifications

• Experience in risk strategy ideally within fintech.
• Proven analytics track record with large data sets.
• Proficiency in statistical tools and data manipulation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee performance and profitability of 1–2 portfolios.
• Prepare internal reports for review by head of risk strategy.
• Document processes and support strategy reviews.
• Ensure KPI achievement for designated countries.
• Coordinate with GTM when rolling out new strategies.
• Write documentation explaining recommendations.
• Use SQL and R or Python for data extraction and manipulation.
• Work with Data Science to implement ML/AI models.
• Incorporate AB test findings into policies.
• Own and manage risk KPIs for portfolios.
