Job summary

Allient Inc. in Reynosa, Mexico is seeking a Purchasing Supervisor to lead procurement of raw materials, equipment, and supplies, ensuring cost-effective sourcing for the manufacturing facility.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in purchasing or supply chain within a maquiladora environment, fluent in English and Spanish, and proficient with ERP systems and MS Office. This full-time role requires travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field (BA, SCM, IE) required.
• 3–5 years in Purchasing or supply chain in manufacturing.
• Fluent in English and Spanish.
• Experience with POs, materials planning, and KPIs.
• ERP experience, preferably Dynamics 365.

Responsibilities

• Establish cost-effective procurement procedures for a variety of materials.
• Prepare and assign purchase orders and change notices to buyers.
• Analyze market conditions to determine material availability and prepare reports.
• Review requisitions, suppliers, quotations, and terms.
• Recommend major purchases based on price changes or supply issues.
• Monitor vendor performance against delivery, quality, and price commitments.
• Develop office procedures and improve workflow for procurement efficiency.
