Job summary

Johnson Controls in Reynosa, Mexico seeks an experienced Procurement professional to source new product components, tooling, and indirect materials. You will coordinate with suppliers to meet lead times, costs, and quality targets while maintaining MRP/ERP entries and supplier performance data.

Responsibilities include managing Best Price analyses, PAPSO completion, and resolving invoice discrepancies. A Bachelor’s degree and 3–5 years in purchasing or production control are expected, with

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in business or equivalent experience.
Three to five years’ experience in purchasing, material planning, or production control.
Fluent in English and Spanish.
Good communication skills both written and verbal.
Experience in a team environment desirable.

Responsibilities

Procures all new product components, tooling, and indirect materials to meet requirements.
Ensure Best Price Analyses are received on time with correct lead times and minimum order quantities.
Work with vendors to complete PAPSO and tooling qualification.
Enter new components into the MRP/ERP system and link to the rank 1 vendor.
Maintain a spreadsheet tracking material availability and supplier performance.
Resolve invoice and receipt discrepancies and expedite orders.
