Job summary

Johnson Controls, Inc. in Reynosa, Mexico is seeking an experienced procurement professional to source components, tooling, and indirect materials for new products.

You will ensure on-time delivery within lead times, coordinate with suppliers, and manage PAPSO and qualification activities to support production ramp-ups. The role requires 3–5 years in purchasing and bilingual English/Spanish communication, with strong MS Office skills and experience in an ERP/MRP environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or equivalent.
• Three to five years’ experience in purchasing, material planning, or production control with minimal supervision.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Procure all required materials (components, tooling, indirect supplies) for new products.
• Ensure on-time delivery, correct lead times, and minimum order quantities per forecast.
• Coordinate with suppliers to complete PAPSO, tooling qualification, and vendor qualification per Product Development Process.
• Create quotes and purchase orders, manage ERP/MRP entries, and resolve discrepancies and expedited orders.
• Collaborate with internal teams (Product Team, Production, Accounts Payable) to support ramp-up and risk management.
