Job summary

Allient Inc. in Reynosa, Mexico is seeking a Purchasing Supervisor to lead procurement of raw materials, equipment, and supplies. You will establish cost-effective purchasing procedures and manage purchase orders.

Ideal candidates possess a Bachelor's in a relevant field, 3–5 years in purchasing, bilingual English/Spanish, ERP experience (Dynamics 365 preferred) and strong Excel skills; travel readiness required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, International Business, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• 3–5 years in Purchasing or Materials in manufacturing.
• Bilingual English/Spanish.
• Experience with PO management and supplier KPIs.
• ERP experience, preferably Dynamics 365.
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.

Responsibilities

• Establish cost-effective procurement procedures for a variety of materials.
• Prepare and assign purchase orders and change notices.
• Analyze market conditions to assess material availability and report findings.
• Review requisitions, suppliers, quotations, and terms.
• Recommend major purchases based on price trends and supply availability.
• Monitor vendor performance to ensure delivery, quality, and price commitments.
• Improve clerical procedures and workflow for purchasing operations.
