Allient Inc. in Reynosa, Mexico is seeking a Buyer to join our team. The Buyer handles purchases and planning while maintaining steady communication with suppliers and shipping partners to ensure delivery dates align with production schedules.

The role requires experience in purchasing and planning in manufacturing, basic MRP knowledge, and proficiency with MS Office. ISO 9001/IATF 16949 familiarity is a plus.

Formación

• Experience in purchases and/or planning and expediting raw materials.
• Experience in manufacturing industry.
• MRP basic knowledge and MS Office proficiency.
• ISO 9001 / IATF 16949 familiarity is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Manage purchases and planning while coordinating with vendors and shipping partners.
• Ensure on-time delivery by monitoring orders and production schedules.
• Communicate schedule changes to production and planning teams promptly.
• Negotiate supplier MOQs and resolve PO price variances.
• Address price, delivery, or invoice issues with suppliers.

Allient Inc. is currently seeking a Buyer to join our team in Reynosa, Mexico!

The Buyer is responsible for purchases and planning while maintaining constant communication with vendors and shipping companies to make sure delivery dates are aligned.

Requirements

• Experience in purchases and/or planning and expedite raw materials (shortages), maintain constant contact with vendors and shipping companies while deliveries are in route
• Have worked in Manufacturing industry
• Contact suppliers to ensure that all dropship purchase orders were received and that deliveries will ship on time
• Knowledge of customer order requirements and production capacity to acknowledge shipping dates for assigned production areas
• Notify if a critical delivery is going to be late
• Knowledge in communicate issues/concerns related to schedule changes caused by design problems, capacity limitations or material shortages to appropriate levels within the organization.
• Communicate production and project management team in a timely manner issues/concerns related to schedule changes caused by design problems, capacity limitations or material shortages to appropriate level within the organization.
• Manage and resolve PO purchase price variance issues
• Responsible for driving and negotiating supplier MOQ
• Collaborates with planning to effectively control material scheduling and planning
• Contact suppliers to resolve Price, delivery or invoice issues

Minimum Qualifications

• Minimum 3 year of experience
• MRP basic knowledge
• Knowledge of Microsoft office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, etc.)
• Knowledge of ISO 90001/IATF 16949 system is a plus
