Job summary

Essity Higiene y Salud Mexico is seeking a Sales & Marketing Controller to lead financial evaluation of new business initiatives, promotions, pricing actions and investments. You will partner with Commercial and Marketing teams, provide data-driven insights, and guide decision-making with robust P&Ls and governance across S&OP and forecasting processes.

The role requires 2-4 years in Controlling or FP&A, strong analytical skills, and advanced SAP/AFO/Power BI/Excel proficiency.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, economics or related field.
2-4 years of experience in controlling, FP&A or commercial finance in a multinational environment.
Strong understanding of P&L, balance sheet, working capital and cash flow.
Ability to challenge stakeholders and influence decisions with data-driven insights.
Proven ability to translate financial data into actionable business recommendations.
Advanced proficiency in SAP, AFO, Power BI and Excel.

Responsibilities

Lead the financial evaluation of new business initiatives, promotions, pricing actions, and commercial investments, building robust business cases and P&Ls.
Analyze monthly financial results and deviations versus Plan, Forecast, and Prior Year with root cause analysis and clear recommendations.
Act as Finance Business Partner for Commercial and Marketing teams, guiding financial decisions.
Challenge commercial assumptions and identify risks and opportunities through fact-based analysis.
Lead financial governance of commercial activities and balance market opportunities with targets.
Own S&OP financial dimension, coordinating demand, sales and profitability perspectives.
Coordinate forecasting, budgeting, and financial planning for the category with timely, accurate information.
Partner with Marketing, Commercial, Supply Chain, and Finance to mitigate risks and create value.
Lead long-term strategic planning with financial scenarios and commitments.
Monitor KPIs like Net Sales, Gross Profit, EBIT, Working Capital and Cash Flow and report to leadership.
Participate in cross-functional Controlling Network initiatives and drive continuous improvement.
Prepare executive-level analyses, reports, and presentations for the BU Leadership Team.
