Essity in Mexico City is seeking a Sales & Marketing Controller to lead financial evaluations of commercial initiatives, manage P&Ls, and partner with Marketing and Sales to drive profitable growth.

The role requires strong analytical skills, experience with SAP/AFO/Power BI, and the ability to influence decisions with data-driven insights. Collaborate across Finance, Supply Chain, and Commercial teams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
• 2-4 years of experience in Controlling, FP&A, Commercial Finance, or similar.
• Strong understanding of P&L, Balance Sheet, Working Capital, and Cash Flow.
• Ability to challenge stakeholders with data-driven insights.
• Experience supporting commercial teams and evaluating business cases.

Responsabilités

• Lead the financial evaluation of new business initiatives, promotions, pricing actions, and commercial investments, building robust business cases and P&Ls to ensure alignment with growth and profitability targets.
• Analyze monthly results and deviations versus Plan/Forecast/Prior Year, delivering insights and actionable recommendations.
• Act as Finance Business Partner for Commercial and Marketing teams, providing guidance and challenging assumptions.
• Lead financial governance of commercial activities and balance market opportunities with financial targets.
• Own the financial dimension of the S&OP process and coordinate forecasting and profitability perspectives.
• Coordinate and consolidate forecasting, budgeting, and financial planning activities for the category.
• Partner with Marketing, Commercial, Supply Chain, and Finance teams to identify risks/opportunities and propose mitigation actions.
• Lead the financial preparation and consolidation of the category's Long-Term Strategic Plan.
• Monitor KPIs like Net Sales, Gross Profit, EBIT, Working Capital, and Cash Flow.
• Participate in cross-functional initiatives and share best practices.
• Prepare executive-level analyses and presentations for the Leadership Team.
